Moist and rich, yet so simple to make! This is a good cake to decorate for birthdays, parties, or the holidays, but it's fine to serve plain any time.
Combine first six ingredients, then add the remaining three. Mix
well, and pour into a 13x9x2 (50 to 60 mins at 325F) or two 9 inch (40
mins at 325F) lightly greased and floured pans. (May also be used for
cupcakes.) Cool well and frost with Vanilla Cream-Cheese Frosting.
Blend cheese, milk. Stir in sugar gradually; add salt, vanilla; blend well.
