This spaghetti and meat balls recipe is a Sunday favorite in our house! You'll need a pressure cooker for this one, but they're much easier to find then many people realize. We found our Miro-Matic "8" at an estate sale for under $10! Another place to get your vintage Mirro pressure cooker quickly is on eBay. Our Mirro-Matic has given us many years of excellent service and, like our Lifetime stainless steel pans (handed down from Grandma), we expect many, many more years of use from our Mirro!

The recipe for this tasty spaghetti and meat balls dinner comes from the Mirro-Matic "8" recipe book that was included with new Mirro purchases, MIRRO-MATIC "8," Recipes -- Directions -- Time Tables [Aluminum Goods Mfg. Co., Manitowoc, Wis., 1949].

You might want to read the entire recipe before beginning, as the second half (for the meat balls) is actually the part you'll want to prepare first.

Goes great with salty breadsticks.
